The LCXH162244 contains 16 non-inverting buffers with 3-state outputs that can be used as memory and address drivers, clock drivers, or bus-oriented transmitter/receivers. The device is a nibble controlled device. Each nibble has independent 3-state control inputs that can be shorted together for full 16-bit operation. The LCXH162244 data inputs contain active bus-hold circuitry that holds unused or floating data inputs at valid logic levels without the need for external pull-up resistors.
