The LCX257 is a quad 2-input multiplexer with 3-state outputs. Four bits of data from two sources can be selected using a common data select input. Four outputs present selected data in true (non-inverted) form. By setting a logic high on the common output enable (OE#) input, the output can be switched to a high-impedance state, allowing the output to interface directly with bus-oriented systems. The 74LCX257 uses an advanced CMOS process to achieve high-speed operation while maintaining the low power consumption of CMOS.

The MC74AC157/74ACT157 is a high-speed quad 2-input multiplexer. Four bits of data from two sources can be selected using the common select and enable inputs. Four outputs present selected data in true (non-inverted) form. The MC74AC157/74ACT157 can also be used as a function generator.
