High-Performance Silicon-Gate CMOS MC74LVX4053 uses a silicon-gate CMOS process to achieve fast propagation delay, low on-resistance, and low off-channel leakage. This analog multiplexer/demultiplexer controls analog voltages that vary over the full supply range (VCC to VEE). The LVX4053 has similar pinouts to the LVX8053, HC4053A and metal gate MC14053B. The channel select input determines which analog input/output is connected to the common output/input via an analog switch. When the enable pin is high, all analog switches are off. Channel select and enable inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with pull-up resistors, they are compatible with LSTTL outputs. The device is designed so that the on-resistance (Ron) with respect to input voltage is more linear than that of a metal-gate CMOS analog switch.
