The CM1231 is designed for sub-micron silicon designs. These devices are suitable for protecting systems with higher data and clock rates, or circuits such as USB 2.0 that require low capacitive loads. The CM1231-02SO incorporates a dual-stage ESD structure, which greatly improves system-level ESD protection performance compared to traditional single-clamp designs. Additionally, the CM1231-02SO offers controlled filter rollover for better EMI suppression and better signal integrity. The CM1231-02SO provides up to 12 kV contact ESD pulse protection on the output pins according to the IEC61000-4-2 standard. The device also features current-through differential pinouts for easy wiring.
