The ISL9R3060G2 is a STEALTH diode with low loss performance in high frequency hard switching applications. The STEALTH series features low reverse recovery current (IRR) and exceptionally soft recovery under typical operating conditions. This device is suitable for use as a freewheeling or boosting diode in power supplies and other power switching applications. Low IRR and short ta phase reduce switching transistor losses. Soft recovery minimizes ringing, extending the range of conditions under which the diode can be operated without the use of additional snubber circuitry. Consider using STEALTH diodes with SMPS IGBTs to provide the most efficient and highest power density design at a lower cost.
