The NCV8461 is a fully protected high-side driver that can be used to switch various loads such as light bulbs, solenoid valves, and other actuators. The device is internally protected against overload conditions through active current limiting and thermal shutdown. Diagnostic outputs report shutdown open load conditions and high temperature shutdown.
