The CAV93C86 is an automotive-grade 16-Kb microwire serial EEPROM memory device that can be configured as a 16-bit register (ORG pin at VCC) or an 8-bit register (ORG pin at GND). Each register can be written (or read) serially using the DI (or DO) pin. The CAV93C86 is fabricated using ON Semiconductor's advanced CMOS EEPROM floating gate process. The device can withstand 1,000,000 program/erase cycles with 100-year data retention. The device is available in 8-pin SOIC and TSSOP packages.
