The LE25U20AFD is a serial interface compatible flash memory device with a 256K × 8-bit configuration. It uses a single 2.5 V supply. While taking full advantage of the inherent features of serial flash devices, the LE25U20AFD comes in an ultra-small 8-pin package. These features make the device suitable for storing program code in applications such as portable information devices, where the size is becoming increasingly compact. Also, by using the small sector erase function, this product is also suitable for parameter and date storage purposes, and has a relatively small rewrite time, which is the shortcoming of EEPROM.
