The KNX Transceiver Twisted Pair Network (KNX TP1-256) can use the NCN5121 as a receiver-transmitter integrated circuit (IC).The NCN5121 embeds both the PHY and MAC layers to handle the transmit and receive on the bus. It generates a stabilized voltage from the unregulated bus voltage for its own power requirements as well as for powering external devices.The NCN5121 ensures secure coupling and decoupling to the bus. Various monitoring metrics (bus voltage, current, temperature, ...) are available via analog pins .
